ANTONELLA CAPPUCCIO Theatrum Mundi Ferrini Franzosini Verbania

COMUNICATO STAMPA → Il Theatrum Mundi dell’Artista Antonella Cappuccio al Ferrini Franzosini di Verbania si inaugura il 22 Aprile 2022 alle ore 11:30. Le Opere esposte, diciassette tele ad olio e dodici teatrini a tecnica mista, abbracciano un periodo che va dal 1997 al 2022 e tracciano un’interessante sintesi della poetica dell’Artista. Antonella Cappuccio ha studiato con Maria Baroni e Dario Cecchi, entrambi costumisti designer, i primi Maestri d’Arte con cui Antonella ha iniziato a lavorare per il Cinema e il Teatro, inizialmente come assistente, in seguito, come Costumista designer: a loro deve la sua formazione artistica e culturale. Ha lavorato con la creme del Teatro italiano, da Pierluigi Pizzi a Danilo Donati, da Maria De Matteis a Ezio Frigerio, Luigi Squarzina, Daniele D’Anza fino a Orazio Costa, Edmo Fenoglio, Silverio Blasi, Giulio Majano, Lina Wertmuller e Paolo Poli. Contemporaneamente, insieme alla passione per il costume teatrale, nasceva l’amore per la Pittura. In questo settore Dario Cecchi guidò l’Artista in un attento e profondo studio di Mantegna, Botticelli, Raffaello, Bellini. Le prime esposizioni risalgono al 1976 e dopo sei anni di bigamia artistica (in una definizione della stessa Artista) abbandona i costumi e si dedica totalmente alla Pittura. Dal 1985 al 1994 la Cappuccio ha partecipato al movimento chiamato Nuova Maniera Italiana. Solo nel 1994 invece, quando il desiderio di solitudine e di una ricerca più personale prevalsero sullo spirito di gruppo, continua il percorso artistico da sola. Due anni più tardi inizia una serie di Opere basate sui costumi teatrali, ricerca che continua ancora oggi. Sul palcoscenico offerto da Antonella si scoprono meraviglie date da elementi teatrali proposti in maniera nuova e stimolante come i costumi di scena fluttuanti sulla tela. Nel grande Theatrum Mundi dell’Artista i suoi teatrini della serie Dar corpo ai sogni adottano la tridimensionalità come mediatore di percezioni, una tecnica già vista in altri Artisti ma qui sapientemente dosata per lasciare nel fruitore la domanda circa la sensazione ambigua di realtà onirica offerta dalle Arti visive, in particolare del Teatro e, soprattutto, del Cinema. All’evento di inaugurazione sarà presente l’Artista stessa e il Critico e Storico dell’Arte Marco Bussagli che illustrerà i caratteri fondamentali dell’esposizione e che ne ha curato il Catalogo. La Mostra Theatrum mundi è realizzata con il Patrocinio del Comune di Verbania e con il sostegno di Big Emotion e Amalago, Associazione per la promozione artistica e culturale del Lago Maggiore. Sarà possibile visitare l’Esposizione fino al 30 Giugno 2022 tutti i Martedì e i Venerdì dalle 14:30 alle 17:30 prenotandosi all’indirizzo esposizioni@ferrinifranzosini.edu.it.
