GIANNI MINCHIO Vuoti di Memoria Per non dimenticare LibroGalleria Fahrenheit 451 Roma

COMUNICATO STAMPA → Presentata da Marco Bussagli e curata da Francesco Ruggiero, allestita nella LibroGalleria Fahrenheit 451 in Campo de’ Fiori a Roma, la Mostra fotografica di Gianni Minchio dal titolo Vuoti di Memoria, nella stessa Piazza del celebre luogo del rogo, istituita esattamente un secolo dopo la realizzazione della Scultura monumentale in bronzo di Giordano Bruno realizzata da Ettore Ferrari nel 1889. Roghi, scrive Francesco Ruggiero, che ancora oggi non si arrestano. Nel periodo Ottobre/Novembre 2017 il Fotografo Gianni Minchio realizzava, nello scenario dell’Olocausto all’interno del campo di concentramento di Auschwitz, un percorso di venticinque scatti fotografici selezionati tra centinaia di immagini realizzate. Fabbricato nel 1940 dopo l’invasione tedesca della Polonia a settanta chilometri da Cracovia vi furono segregati, oltre alla maggior parte degli Ebrei, i prigionieri politici polacchi, membri della resistenza, zingari, omosessuali, intellettuali … Come un lungo racconto, un racconto per fermoimmagini, Gianni Minchio ricompone quel sentire vissuto di interminabili vite spezzate, frantumate senza scrupolo, come fossero non vite, ma altro. Ha respirato lo stesso clima, calcato quelle superfici, attraversato gli stessi muri che hanno annullato, abbattendo, qualsiasi desiderio di fuga, di non ritorno, ogni speranza di vita. Ha raccontato ciò che non si può raccontare, né affatto sentire, sterminato è il distacco degli stati d’animo. Un fermoimmagine carico di ammonimenti che bonificano e plasmano i nostri Vuoti di Memoria. Essi ci investono con l’urlo di milioni di persone vuote di ogni speranza, come sulla soglia dell’Inferno di Dante, dinnanzi alla scritta di gelido metallo Arbeit macht frei, l’ingresso dell’Inferno della Storia. Sulla sua cima il nero corvo di Allan Poe ci ripete … Mai più … e … Non può piovere per sempre … ci rasserena il corvo di James O’Barr. La Cultura, in tutte le sue forme, assume, come un germe, l’autorevolezza di antidoto contro la paura. Gianni Minchio è entrato nei campi di concentramento percependo e scoprendo segni e segnali, cercando quei legami per inciderne la memoria. Le foto dell’Artista sono state documentate per la prima volta nella Mostra, La Fotografia è come una incisione, prosegue Ruggiero, incide l’Anima. Vuoti di Memoria quindi per incidere l’impegno del 27 Gennaio che richiama il Giorno della Memoria, la Giornata internazionale per non dimenticare mai le vittime dell’Olocausto e, con la Risoluzione 60/7 dell’Onu … condannare tutte le manifestazioni di intolleranza, incitamento, molestia o violenza contro persone o comunità, sia su base etnica che religiosa.
