Scrive Grazia Menna … Il lavoro che Franca Buscaglia presenta presso lo spazio espositivo dell’Associazione Culturale Lavatoio Contumaciale ci impone di non guardare superficialmente le tele che l’Artista ha scelto di esporre, ci impone di non soffermarci solo sulla tecnica di realizzo dei suoi lavori, ma ci chiede di interrogarci sul messaggio che Franca Buscaglia ci invia attraverso ogni sua Opera: siamo in un tempo lacerato, come dal titolo scelto, in cui la natura appunto lacerata dal poco rispetto che l’essere-uomo le riserva, tenta di opporsi. E allora il bianco giglio di mare che fiorisce tra le dune aride della macchia mediterranea, o quel che rimane di essa ancora non cementificata, si fa spazio nella tela lacerata a ricordarci che senza di lui, senza l’elemento natura che reagisce e resiste, anche l’essere-uomo tenderà ad essere sostituito dall’essere-automa. Per tornare alla tecnica, Franca Buscaglia ha scelto la doppia tela, dove ad una classica tela pittorica ella sovrappone i fili di iuta, anch’essi come una tela a maglie amplissime, i frammenti di legno, tutti elementi che danno profondità alla materia dei colori a olio. Nella tela di iuta, che potremo leggere come la ragnatela di azioni umane ad occludere la natura, gli squarci per liberare una visione positiva che non può che provenire dalla resistenza, dalla reazione dell’ambiente natura alla soffocante prepotenza dell’essere-uomo.
